Expansion of the 'Tamga' substation and installation of solar panels is planned at Issyk-Kul

During a working visit to the Issyk-Kul region, the Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Talaybek Ibraev, familiarized himself with the state of the region's energy infrastructure. He visited the 220/110/24 kV "Tamga" substation, where he assessed the operation of high-voltage power lines, as well as the automation and relay protection systems. During the visit, the minister communicated with the substation staff, listening to their suggestions and problems.

As a result of the meeting, the minister committed to providing the necessary support in addressing the raised issues and gave a number of directives. In particular, he instructed to ensure that the high-voltage line and relay protection teams have service vehicles.

It was also noted that it is necessary to reconstruct the administrative building where the staff works.

Additionally, the project for the construction of a 220 kV high-voltage line from Tamga to Karakol was discussed, which includes the expansion of the "Tamga" substation, the acquisition of special equipment for the workers, and the installation of solar panels on the roof of the administrative building.
