All automobile routes, both international and local, as well as mountain passes across the country are open for traffic, with no restrictions. This information was provided by the Ministry of Transport.
Light snowfall is observed at the Toо-Ashuu and Ala-Bel passes, located on the Bishkek – Osh route, as well as at the Otmok pass, which is on the Taraz – Talas – Suusamyr road. The road services responsible for these sections are constantly monitoring the road conditions during the winter period.
In addition, traffic is open at the Ton-Murun pass on the Osh-Sary-Tash-Erketcham route, as well as at the Dolon and Tuz-Bel passes on the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart road. The Tup-Kegen highway is also accessible, and traffic on all the mentioned routes is proceeding without any restrictions.
The Ministry emphasizes that road services are working around the clock, clearing the roads of snow and treating them with anti-icing materials. The agency also urges all road users to strictly adhere to safety rules.
