In Kyrgyzstan, all passes are open for transit.
As of January 27, all roads of international and local significance, including passes, are open in Kyrgyzstan, and no restrictions are observed.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, there is a light snowfall at the Toо-Ashuu and Ala-Bel passes, which are located on the Bishkek-Osh highway, as well as at the Otmok pass on the Taraz-Talas-Suusamyr road.
However, traffic at the Ton-Murun pass, which is located on the Osh-Sary-Tash-Erketcham road, as well as at the Dolon and Tuz-Bel passes on the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart highway and on the Tyup-Kegen road, is also proceeding without any restrictions.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications reports that its subordinate road enterprises are working around the clock to clear the roads of snow and to apply anti-icing materials.
In this regard, the ministry urges drivers to adhere to traffic rules.
