The public hearings on the budget project for 2026 were held in Osh. The city’s press service reports that at the meeting, the chairman of the parliamentary commission on budget, economy, and industry, Kushbak Shaiev, presented a project according to which the total budget will amount to 5 billion 205 million 536 thousand 400 soms. This exceeds the budget of the previous year, 2025, by 1 billion 780 million 222 thousand 600 soms.
During the discussion, the residents of the city suggested improving social support, modernizing infrastructure, organizing public transport, enhancing electricity supply, repairing roads, and addressing environmental issues, as stated in the announcement.
The event was also attended by the chairman of the city council, Bolot Bayetov, the first deputy mayor, Omurbek Torobaev, deputies, representatives of local services, public organizations, and residents.
