On February 24, a meeting took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Kazakhstan, Kudaibergen Bazarbaev, and the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region, Nurymbet Saktaganov, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the ambassador presented information about investment and export opportunities from Kyrgyzstan and discussed potential supplies of certain types of agricultural products.
In addition, the participants of the meeting considered opportunities for further development of interregional cooperation.
The idea of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan and the Akimat of the East Kazakhstan region at the upcoming 2nd interregional forum was expressed.
The parties also exchanged views on trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian interaction.
