In Bishkek, they want to tighten the rules for traffic violators on electric scooters.
During the meeting, the need to bring the operators' work in line with existing legal norms and traffic rules was discussed, as well as the implementation of regulations for the use of electric scooters in the urban environment.
Representatives of kick-sharing companies were advised to improve user control, including the introduction of sanctions for those who violate traffic rules while using electric scooters. The mayor's office believes that such citizens should be temporarily or completely restricted from renting individual mobility devices.
