The new head of Minvodselprom will continue the predecessor's policy
The new minister stressed that he intends to continue the five key areas of work initiated by his predecessor Bakyt Torobaev and highly praised the professionalism of the existing team.
“With this team, we will be able to achieve high results,” said Akunbekov, adding that personnel stability is an important priority.
During the meeting, First Deputy Minister Zhanibek Kerimaliev spoke about the current affairs of the ministry, while Deputy Mirbek Duyshiev presented information on lending programs in agriculture. Currently, nine projects of state financial support for the agro-industrial complex are being implemented, totaling 13 billion 180 million soms.
Erlis Akunbekov called on employees to work honestly and transparently, focused on achieving results in a short time. He also requested information on readiness for the start of spring fieldwork and instructed responsible individuals to ensure that farmers are provided with seeds, fuel, lubricants, and equipment. Additionally, he highlighted the completion of the water sector reform as one of the main priorities of his work.
Previously, the post of Minister of Water Resources was held by Bakyt Torobaev.
