In Kara-Kul, the memory of veterans of the peacekeeping mission on the Tajik-Afghan border was honored
Among the participants of the event were the deputy mayor, the chairman of the city council, as well as representatives from various institutions, educational organizations, and students from local schools.
The rally began with a moment of silence in memory of those who participated in this important mission. After that, wreaths were laid at the monument, and those present read the Quran.
Awards and Assistance
During the ceremony, veterans who participated in the peacekeeping operation received the badge "For Service in Tajikistan."
In addition, each of the 22 veterans who took part in establishing peace on this border was provided with financial assistance of 5,000 soms, allocated from the local budget and transferred to their personal accounts.
The purpose of the rally was not only to honor the memory of the warriors who made a significant contribution to maintaining peace and the integrity of the country but also to instill patriotism in the younger generation.
