According to the data, from February 20 to 24, events were held in Uzgen to clean irrigation channels, which should help reduce the risks of mudflow danger.
During this work, a section of the Farhad canal measuring 5,100 meters, which previously posed a danger to residents, was cleared, as well as a section of the Uzgen canal measuring 3,800 meters.
Additionally, by February 24, 2026, as part of the people's ashara, the following were cleared:
2,000 meters of the Farhad canal,
2,000 meters of the Uzgen canal.
Furthermore, the cleaning of 500 meters of internal irrigation ditches in the city has been completed. In the future, another 2,000 meters are planned to be cleared. Cleaning work will continue going forward.
Currently, local residents are actively participating in the people's ashara, contributing to the fight against the mudflow threat.
