Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev, together with Deputy Marat Tagaev, visited the film studio "Kyrgyzfilm" to assess the ongoing restoration work. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.
Currently, the studio is completing the restoration of elevators, purchasing new furniture, and renovating offices for directors, producers, and artists.
At the moment, work is also continuing in the cinema hall and the old mini-cinema pavilion, where special filming locations are being created, including sets for hospitals, schools, prisons, and Soviet-style apartments.
In addition, the minister inspected the work of the institution "Kyrgyztasmasy".
Following the inspection, Mirbek Mambetaliev instructed the leadership of the Cinematography Department and its subordinate organizations to ensure high quality and timeliness of repairs, strengthen control over the expenditure of funds, and activate the modernization of infrastructure to support domestic film production.
