The Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic Criticized the Quality of Judicial Practice Summarization
He expressed gratitude to the judges whose decisions were upheld in 100% of cases. However, regarding those with performance indicators of 31% and 58%, Satyiev recommended sending experienced colleagues as mentors to improve the quality of justice.
In this regard, the chairman suggested that the director of the Higher School of Justice explore the possibility of additional training for judges with insufficient results.
Critically assessing the quality of the compilation of judicial practice, he pointed out the failure to implement methodological recommendations and the lack of well-founded proposals to achieve unified judicial practice. He also noted the problem of insufficient analysis of the reasons why first-instance judicial acts are canceled or modified from the perspective of substantive and procedural law.
In conclusion of his speech, Mederbek Satyiev emphasized that the main task of the judicial system is to strengthen citizens' trust, ensure legality, and provide fair justice, calling for joint and active work in this direction.
