A New Director Appointed at the Higher School of Justice under the Supreme Court
During his address, Mederbek Satiev emphasized the importance of this educational institution for the judicial system of the country. He outlined the key goals that the Higher School of Justice faces in the near future, noting its significance in improving the quality of justice and forming the professional ethics of judges, as well as their independence.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the Supreme Court drew attention to the need for adaptation to the increasingly complex legal relations, digitalization, and the growing public demand for transparency. In this context, he highlighted the importance of developing the Higher School of Justice as an intellectual center of the judicial system.
Satiev expressed hope that the appointment of Toktombetov, who has significant experience in judicial activity and management, will help elevate the educational process to a new level. He also outlined the tasks facing the new director: improving the quality of education, implementing modern educational technologies, and creating a unified platform for the professional growth of judges and staff of the judicial system and law enforcement agencies.

Erkin Toktombetov received his higher legal education at the Kyrgyz State University named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR, where he studied from 1985 to 1990. In 2008, he was elected a member of the Council of Judges of Kyrgyzstan and later became its deputy chairman.
