A Program for the Development of Culture and Arts in Kyrgyzstan for 2026–2030 has been approved

The program covers 30 events organized across six key areas.


Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, signed a decree that officially approves the Program for the Development of Culture and Arts for 2026–2030. This was reported by the government press service.

The document includes not only the program itself but also an action plan for its implementation, as well as a budget and a matrix of indicators that will be used for monitoring and evaluating the program's execution over the specified period.

The main goals and objectives, as well as the priority areas for the development of culture and arts, are defined in this program until 2030.

“The main goals of the program are to expand citizens' access to cultural values and opportunities for self-expression, to form civic identity, and to strengthen the role of culture in the social and economic transformations of the country,” the statement notes.

Additionally, the program aims to strengthen cultural ties between regions, support the integration of cultural initiatives, and create conditions for active participation of the population in the cultural life of the country.

In total, the program includes about 30 events grouped into six priority areas.
