This document has been prepared in accordance with the decree of the President of Kyrgyzstan on "urgent measures for state support of culture, art, and sports." It includes an action plan, the program budget, and a matrix for monitoring and evaluating its implementation.
The main goals of the program are:
- increasing citizens' access to cultural values and opportunities for realizing creative potential;
- forming and developing civic identity;
- strengthening the role of culture in social transformations and the economic growth of the country.
Heads of ministries, state agencies, and other authorities in Kyrgyzstan involved in implementing the action plan have been instructed to ensure its timely and strict execution.
