As part of the celebrations on February 23, local authorities paid tribute to 100-year-old veteran Mamasali Jumayev, who lives in the rural district of Bagysh.
Present at the event were the akim of the Suzak district, Baratbek Sydyknazarov, and the head of the district labor, social protection, and migration department, Omurbek Mamytov, who warmly congratulated the veteran.
Currently, there are only two participants of the Great Patriotic War left in the Jalal-Abad region.
