In their statement, 21 individuals indicated that from January 5 to 16, they worked on the construction of a multi-story residential building being erected by the State Mortgage Company.
During the review of the situation, it was revealed that the construction of this complex was previously carried out by another enterprise, which exited the project without completing the work. As a result, the project was handed over to a new contractor.
After receiving a letter from the Ombudsman, the new contractor expressed readiness to employ local residents if they have the necessary qualifications and experience.
In early February, the applicants reported in a written appeal that they had been re-employed, thanking the Ombudsman for the assistance provided.
