In order to prevent citizens from being involved in the activities of extremist groups, the GKNB, together with the National Agency for Religious Affairs and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, has launched preventive initiatives in educational institutions. According to the data, a low level of knowledge about traditional Islam leads to the involvement of people in the ideologies of various banned religious extremist organizations. These structures typically promote radical ideas that contradict the principles of a secular state and the current legislation of Kyrgyzstan. Recruitment mainly occurs through social networks.

Since the beginning of the year, the GKNB has been actively conducting informational and explanatory activities among university students.

The message emphasizes that special attention is paid to improving religious literacy, developing critical thinking, and strengthening traditional spiritual and moral values, as well as interfaith harmony.
