The avenue will remain partially accessible for vehicles
Starting from February 24, the southern part of Deng Xiaoping Avenue in Bishkek will be closed for repair work, according to information from the city authorities.
The work will be carried out on a section 4.458 kilometers long.
The reason for the early start of the road modernization is the need to replace old water pipes. The project includes the dismantling of the existing asphalt, road widening, updating curbs, and laying new pavement.
It is worth noting that similar work was carried out last year on the northern side of this avenue.
The repair process will be divided into three stages, and the opening of sections will occur gradually over the course of a month.
