The southern part of Deng Xiaoping Avenue in Bishkek will be closed for repairs.

Starting from February 24, a temporary closure of the southern part of Deng Xiaoping Avenue is expected in Bishkek. The work will be carried out on the section from Fuchik Street to Alykulov Street, with a length of 4.458 kilometers, as reported by the city hall's press service.

According to the provided information, the repair work will begin earlier than scheduled due to the need for replacing water supply pipes.

“On this section, the road surface will be dismantled, the roadway will be widened, curbs will be updated, and new asphalt will be laid. In 2025, similar work was carried out on the northern side of the avenue. The repairs will be divided into three phases, and the opening of sections is planned to be done gradually over the course of a month,” the message specifies.
