In four months, over 190 thousand citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic have imposed a self-ban on lending.
As of January 2026, the number of users who took advantage of this service reached 151,249.
The self-restriction mechanism was implemented in the country on November 1, 2025. Its main goal is to reduce instances of fraud and protect citizens from unauthorized loan applications.
