At the hearings dedicated to the capital's budget project, it was announced that the city's revenues in 2026 will amount to 32.9 billion soms.
These funds will be used for the repair and construction of roads, improvement of engineering networks, capital repairs of social facilities, as well as for landscaping and beautification of neighborhoods.
The hearings took place at the "Tunguch" theater, where residents, deputy mayors, deputies of the Bishkek City Council, and heads of city services were present.
Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baigonchokov noted that over the past five years, the city's budget has tripled, and revenues for the past year amounted to 30.5 billion soms, exceeding the planned level by 1.1 billion.
Residents actively asked questions on topics such as gasification, sewage, road development, transport, and social facilities. All suggestions were noted and forwarded to the relevant services for further consideration.
