Now you can also apply online for a passport exchange (conditions and deadlines)

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan can now apply online for the exchange of the new passport, which was introduced in 2020, using the mobile application "Tunduk." The expected processing time for the application is 18 working days, as reported by the press service of the State Enterprise "Kyzmat."

Applications can be submitted for the following reasons:

upon expiration of the passport or at the citizen's request;
due to changes in personal data;
in case of document damage;
in the event of passport loss.

Photo requirements adhere to international ICAO standards: the face must have a neutral expression, the gaze should be directed straight at the camera (slight deviations to the sides are allowed), and the eyebrows should be in a natural position. A slight smile is permitted. Photos should be taken without head coverings, except in cases where a women's scarf is used, which should not cover the face's oval and must fit snugly around the head. The photo must be taken no earlier than six months before submission, sized 35 x 45 mm, in color on a white background. If photographed while wearing glasses, the frame should not cover the eyes, and the lenses should not cause glare. For individuals with vision impairments, glasses with dark lenses are allowed. Clothing should be casual or office attire.
