GU 'Kyzmat' has introduced a new electronic service for residents of Kyrgyzstan, allowing them to submit applications for the exchange of civil passports (2020 model) through the mobile application 'Tündük'.
According to the established norms, the document processing will take 18 working days.
When it is possible to apply online:
- if the passport has expired;
- in case of changes to personal data;
- in case of loss or damage to the document.
What's new in the service
During the application process, users can change the spelling of their surnames and first names in Latin script. According to the government decree dated August 20, 2025, No. 508, the applicant decides whether to include a patronymic in the foreign passport. However, the presence of a patronymic is mandatory in the ID card.
How to correctly upload a photo
The service offers modern methods for identification. A photo can be:
taken from the phone's gallery;
taken directly in the application;
obtained at the Public Service Center (PSC) using a unique barcode (photography at the centers is free of charge).
Photos must meet the international ICAO standards: a white background, a neutral facial expression, and no head coverings (except religious ones that do not obscure the face's oval). The image size must be 35×45 millimeters.
