Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic can now apply for the replacement of civil passports of the 2020 model through the mobile application "Tunduk". This information was provided by the State Service "Kyzmat".
The processing time for passports is 18 working days, and the service is provided in standard mode.
Applications can be submitted for the following reasons:
replacement upon expiration or at the citizen's request; replacement due to changes in personal data; replacement in case of document damage; replacement in case of loss of passport.
"When submitting an application, citizens can also change the transliteration of their surnames, first names, and patronymics into Latin script," the agency noted.
According to paragraph 9 of the Regulation on the Civil Passport of the Citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution of August 20, 2025, No. 508, the patronymic is indicated at the citizen's discretion."Thus, when submitting an application, the applicant decides whether to indicate the surname with or without the patronymic. However, in the ID card, the patronymic must be indicated if available," the message added.
- uploading a photo from a mobile device;
- taking a photo directly in the application;
- uploading a photo from the CSM using a unique barcode (photography in the CSM is free).
IMPORTANT: A valid electronic cloud signature is mandatory, and it can be verified in the Personal Account in "Tunduk".
