In Bishkek, 122 streets with a total length of 92 kilometers were repaired in 2025

In 2025, a large-scale reconstruction of the street network was carried out in Bishkek, during which 122 streets were updated and paved, with a total length of 92 kilometers. This was reported by Bakai Keneshchoroев, the leading specialist of the Bishkek city administration, at a meeting of the Road Council.

Of all the repaired roads, only two were built from scratch, amounting to 2 kilometers of the total work.
Additionally, in 2025, sidewalks on 28 streets were updated, with a total length of 25 kilometers.
As a result of the work carried out, the total length of road coverage completed in 2025 reached 1,450 kilometers. Of this, 710 kilometers were gravel surfaces, while 740 kilometers were concrete.

According to the city administration, the total length of Bishkek's road network is 2,822.2 kilometers, of which 1,834 kilometers are in satisfactory condition.

Keneshchoroев noted that over the past year, the share of roads in good condition increased by 65 percent.
