Tomorrow, February 19, the Orozо fast will begin in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the country.
According to the information from the muftiate, February 18 is the thirtieth day of the month of Shaban, which is why the first day of Orozо falls on February 19.
Additionally, February 19 has been determined as the first day of Ramadan in several other countries, such as Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Brunei, Oman, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, and South Korea.
The European Council for Fatwas and Research has also confirmed that February 19 will be the first day of the month of Ramadan.
