One of the key topics on the agenda is the question of the beginning of the month of Ramadan and the date of the holiday of Orozо Ait. Participants of the meeting are considering various methodological approaches to determining these dates and exchanging opinions on theological issues.
The event is held under the auspices of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan, and it includes members of the Fatwa Committee, heads of religious institutions, and prominent Islamic scholars from Turkic countries. Kyrgyzstan is represented by Abibilla Azhy Kadyrberdiev, head of the department for public information support at DUMK KR, and specialist Bayastan Marat uulu.

At the opening of the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Uzbekistan, Zainiddin Eshonkulov, emphasized the importance of Samarkand as a historical and spiritual center of the Islamic world and the Great Silk Road.
Dr. Mirvohid Azimov, Deputy Secretary-General of the Turkic Council, noted the symbolic significance of holding meetings in Samarkand and expressed hope for the development of cooperation on religious issues, as well as the strengthening of spiritual unity among Turkic states.
In addition to calendar-related issues, participants are also discussing relevant aspects of Islamic law, including "ushr" in agriculture and the impact of production costs on this.
Possibilities and limitations of using artificial intelligence in the processes of issuing and receiving fatwas are also being discussed.
It is worth noting that last year, the VI summit of the heads of spiritual administrations of the member countries of the Turkic Council was held for the first time in Kyrgyzstan.
