The forum organizers noted that many wonderful works were submitted; however, unfortunately, not all films could be included in the competition program. "Thank you very much to everyone for their interest in our forum!" they added.
The competition program includes films created by directors from Uzbekistan, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Japan.
The XIII International Forum of Young Cinema "Umut" will take place in Bishkek from March 3 to March 7, 2026. The aim of the event is to support young filmmakers and promote their works, which includes film screenings, pitching sessions, and master classes.
