At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on the Judiciary, Law Enforcement, and Combating Crime, a draft law of the Kyrgyz Republic concerning amendments to several key legislative acts, including the Criminal Executive, Criminal, and Criminal Procedure Codes, was approved. This decision was made in the second reading.

The committee chairman, Bolotbek Borbiev, emphasized that this draft law aims to strengthen measures against organized crime and its ultimate eradication. An important aspect is the introduction of the concept of recidivism of crimes and the discussion of issues related to the confiscation of property.

The meeting also reviewed and approved the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the KR," concerning the Civil Code and the Civil Procedure Code, which was adopted in the third reading.

Borbiev, presenting the initiative of Deputy Dastan Bekeshev, noted that the draft law is aimed at creating a more flexible and humane system for protecting the rights of citizens recognized as incapacitated or having limited capabilities, as well as simplifying the procedures for restoring their legal capacity.
