On February 16, a swan unable to fly was found on agricultural land in the village of Shabdan, just two kilometers from the Chon-Kemin State Nature Park. This was reported in a statement by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the agency's information, local residents managed to catch the bird and hand it over to park staff for safety. An official report was drawn up regarding this incident, and the swan was sent to an animal rehabilitation center. Currently, specialists at the center are conducting a veterinary examination and providing necessary rehabilitation procedures.
The Ministry urges citizens to treat wildlife with respect, to refrain from illegal capture of animals, and to report to the relevant authorities immediately if necessary.
