He noted that contracts concluded with contractors necessarily include a clause about the need to rectify deficiencies at their own expense.
“As a department, we are responsible for the quality of the roads we accept. We have a specialized laboratory, as well as technical supervision with a license and certificate for each project. The reasons for the emergence of defects are varied, but all of them are eliminated. Legislation now stipulates that the warranty period for completed work has been extended from one year to three years,” Janbolotov added.
Additionally, it is worth reminding that in 2026, the construction and reconstruction of 119 kilometers of roads and bridges is planned in Bishkek. Of these, 19 kilometers will be new, while 100 kilometers will be reconstructed.
