The process of demolishing the cinema "Chatyr-Kul," located in the Oktobrskiy district of Bishkek, has begun, as reported by local residents.
This facility, situated at the corner of Toktonalieva and Zhamanbaeva streets, was handed over to the city authorities after a fire occurred last November. At that time, city hall representatives expressed their intention to reconstruct this building, which is significant for both locals and tourists.
It should be noted that in recent years, Bishkek has lost many cultural and historical sites that have been demolished.
