A social center for children and the elderly will be built in Bishkek on the site of the "Chatyr-Kul" cinema. » Gazeta.kg

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has instructed the State Property Management Agency, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, to transfer a non-residential space located at 6/1 Toktonalieva Street, along with an adjacent plot of land of 0.4 hectares, to the Bishkek city administration.

According to Cabinet Resolution No. 1112-t, the design and construction of a social facility are planned for this site, which will provide services for children and the elderly.
It is important to note that there used to be the "Chatyr-Kul" cinema at this location.
This decision aims to improve the quality of life for local residents and ensure the accessibility of social services for elderly citizens and children.

It is worth adding that the "Chatyr-Kul" cinema was opened in 1967 in the Botanical residential area and initially served the residents of the new districts of Frunze, but gradually lost its functionality.
