The Foreign Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan discussed the Issyk-Kul - Almaty road and logistics centers
A recent meeting between the foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev and Ermek Kosherbaev, took place in Bishkek, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The key topics of discussion included the construction of an industrial trade and logistics complex at the border, as well as the establishment of a wholesale distribution center in the Almaty region, which will be used for the storage of agricultural products.

The discussion also touched upon the project for an alternative road from Issyk-Kul to Almaty and the need to modernize bridges and border crossing points on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.

The ministers agreed to further explore opportunities for cooperation in agriculture and industrial cooperation.
In addition, they confirmed their readiness to expand interaction in the fields of education and medicine. Jeenbek Kulubaev invited the Kazakh side to the VI World Nomad Games, which will be held this year in Kyrgyzstan.

The diplomats also agreed on a schedule for mutual high-profile visits for 2026 and expressed their readiness to support each other within the framework of international organizations.
