The Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan Discussed Current Issues of Bilateral Cooperation

During the meeting, the ministers discussed the implementation of several significant projects, such as the construction of an industrial trade and logistics complex at the border, the establishment of a wholesale distribution center in the Almaty region for the storage of vegetables and fruits, the alternative highway from Issyk-Kul to Almaty, as well as the modernization of border crossing points and bridges on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The ministers also noted that there is significant untapped potential in the area of interregional cooperation, especially in agriculture and industrial cooperation. In this regard, it was decided to study the existing opportunities in more detail.

Discussing multilateral relations, the heads of the foreign ministries confirmed the alignment of their positions on current regional issues and expressed readiness for mutual support within international organizations.

In addition, the parties emphasized the importance of expanding cultural and humanitarian ties, including through initiatives in education, healthcare, and youth policy.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Zheenbek Kulubaev invited the Kazakh side to actively participate in the upcoming VI World Nomad Games.
