"Arsenal" in the Issyk-Kul Region: Checked 1,547 Hunters and Issued Fines of 147,000 Som

In the Issyk-Kul region, law enforcement officers continue to implement operational and preventive measures called "Arsenal," aimed at preventing violations related to weapons and poaching.

In January of this year, 28 facilities in the permit system and 1,547 hunters were checked. Following the inspections, 54 protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up, resulting in fines totaling 147,000 soms.

Twenty-five units of weapons were seized for violations of regulations, and 16 units were confiscated in criminal cases. Additionally, 31 units were voluntarily surrendered by citizens.

During the operation, 8 crimes were solved, including 2 cases of environmental violations.

To ensure the safety of the population, activities are being conducted in collaboration with public organizations to eliminate dangerous wild animals: 18 jackals and 23 stray dogs have been removed.

Meetings are also being held with local residents in rural areas of the region, where issues of safety and compliance with legal norms are explained.
