He noted that the reclamation of tailings storage facilities is being carried out with the support of international partners, including the Russian state corporation "Rosatom".
Reclamation work has been completed in the village of Min-Kush. A total of $28 million has been allocated by donors for projects in Min-Kush and Shekaftare, while $21 million has been allocated for Mailuu-Suu.
It is planned that by 2030 all tailings storage facilities will be brought to a safe state to eliminate the possibility of pollutants entering rivers.
The Deputy Minister also emphasized the social support for workers. He reported that, by the president's directive, salaries will be increased for divers, employees of the Hydrometeorological Service, foresters, and workers of the State Material Reserves Fund.
"Last year, military personnel received bonuses. For example, those with ranks higher than sergeant earn from 50,000 soms and above. Divers, who previously earned 20-30 thousand soms, will now receive up to 50-60 thousand thanks to a special bonus of 20 thousand soms," added Azamat Mambetov.
Cleaning of lakes, particularly Issyk-Kul, is also ongoing. In 2025, about 200 kilometers of fishing nets were removed from water bodies. Work to strengthen ecological and technogenic safety will continue.
