The Society Awaits Clarifications from the General
With the return of Kamchybek Tashiev, the former head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), many rumors in Kyrgyzstan have come to an end, but numerous questions still remain unanswered. This was reported by civil activist Atai Beyshenbek on his social media.
“In his recent interview, President Sadyr Japarov provided several open clarifications,” he noted.
Considering that Kamchybek Tashiev intends to hold a press conference, the public, as expected, is asking important questions: “Will he support the president in the future? Is his position, in which he states he does not plan to run for president, still relevant? Was he aware of the ‘letter from 75 elders’ and what is his attitude towards it?”
The activist expressed hope that clear answers to these and other questions will be provided soon, and that we will witness stable relations between the two friends, independent of material wealth or power.
