A press release from the Supreme Court states that the meeting discussed ways to deepen interaction between the judicial system and universities. In particular, the focus was on organizing internships for students in courts, joint scientific and practical events, and the exchange of experiences among experts.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyiev, emphasized that the judicial system requires not only lawyers but also specialists in information technology, cybersecurity, finance, analytics, and communications. In this regard, institutions without law faculties were also involved in the cooperation.
The main areas of joint work included:
- organizing production and pre-diploma internships for students with mentors from among judges and staff;
- holding joint conferences, round tables, and expert discussions;
- exchanging analytical materials to update educational programs;
- improving the qualifications of teachers and involving scholars in the programs of the Higher School of Justice.
Leaders from institutions such as the National Academy of Sciences, the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, the Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University, and other universities participated in the event.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their intention to develop long-term partnerships and proposed organizing a national scientific and practical conference dedicated to Constitution Day, with the participation of judges, scholars, and representatives of educational institutions.
