Preferential medications are prescribed only based on strict medical indications by family doctors, and their dispensing is carried out through electronic prescriptions. Medications can only be obtained at pharmacies that have an agreement with the MHIF.
It should be noted that the state partially covers the cost of medications — the MHIF compensates up to 50% of the price of medications in the form of a discount.
Citizens are advised to regularly check their insurance status and consult their family doctor to obtain preferential medications.
