At the international conference to be held on February 21 in Bishkek, the issue of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) will be discussed, along with modern methods of correction and support for families, as well as the development of an inclusive society.

Autism has become one of the most discussed topics in the fields of medicine and education. According to global studies, the number of children with ASD is increasing, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis, support, and social adaptation for these children.

In Kyrgyzstan, there is no statistics on early diagnosis of autism; however, there is a sharp increase in cases of ASD diagnosis among children.

The conference will provide a platform for open communication among specialists who strive to master modern and effective approaches in applied behavior analysis, as well as to create a supportive and accessible environment for people with autism.

Leading specialists from Kyrgyzstan and other countries, including experts in medicine, psychology, and pedagogy, will participate in the conference.

The main speaker of the event will be Daria Li-Romanova, a clinical psychologist and supervisor from Hong Kong. Specialists from Russia are also expected to attend.

National expertise will be provided by professionals with significant experience working with children with special needs.

The format of the conference includes presentations, panel discussions, and discussions on current issues faced by families and specialists.

The conference organizers are also launching a charitable campaign for the free participation of parents of children with ASD.

The conference emphasizes the importance of public attention to autism issues and the need for joint efforts to create an inclusive society where everyone has the right to understanding, support, and the opportunity to realize their potential.
