Local architecture officials responsible for overseeing the development of urban infrastructure were found to be colluding with representatives of construction companies. This has led to serious consequences: delays in the completion of residential buildings, growing dissatisfaction among investors, and traffic jams on the roads due to the overload of the street network and a lack of parking spaces.
As part of the initiated criminal case, GKNB officers detained the First Deputy Chief Architect of the city of Osh, T.Y.K., and architecture specialist T.Z.M., who have been placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing, and the special services are taking measures to identify other officials involved in crimes in the construction sector of the region.
