The State Center for Vehicle Registration has announced the possibility of reducing the driving training period in state driving schools to 4 months.
According to the agency's information, President Sadyr Japarov instructed to consider the possibility of reducing the overall training period, which according to the new rules will be 10 months.
As part of a pilot project, cadets who show excellent results will be able to take the test after 4 months of training and receive a temporary license valid for one year. If they do not violate traffic rules during this period, they will be issued permanent driver's licenses.
It is important to note that from February 10, an online application process for training in state driving schools will begin in the Kyrgyz Republic, and the implementation of updated driver training programs is also planned.
Licenses for private driving schools have been revoked.
