The Kyrgyzstan women's volleyball team has been invited to participate in the 2026 Asian Cup, which will take place from June 6 to 14 in the Philippines, according to the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
This achievement was made possible by the team's successful third place finish at the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Nations League held in Tashkent.
The Asian Cup tournament will feature 12 teams, which will be divided into four groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the "Final Four," while the others will occupy positions from 5th to 12th.
As of today, the Kyrgyzstan women's national team is ranked 10th among Asian teams and 62nd in the world ranking.
