According to information from the Volleyball Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, this achievement became possible due to the high ranking of the team. Over the past two years, Kyrgyzstani volleyball players have twice become winners of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) tournament, which has strengthened their positions on the international stage.
Currently, the women's national team of Kyrgyzstan ranks 62nd in the world ranking and 10th among Asian teams.
The Asian Nations Cup will bring together the 12 best national teams of the continent: seven teams that performed the best in the previous tournament and five selected based on the ranking.
The competition will take place from June 6 to June 14, 2026, in the Philippines. In the first stage of the tournament, teams will be divided into two groups, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the "Final Four." The remaining teams will compete for places 5th to 12th.
