A historic moment for the women's national volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan: the team will participate for the first time in the Nations Cup organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).

According to information provided by the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan, this success was made possible due to the high ranking of the national team.

In the past two years, the team has twice become the winner of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) tournament.

Currently, Kyrgyzstani volleyball players are ranked 62nd in the world and 10th in Asia.

The Asian Nations Cup will feature 12 leading teams from the continent: 7 teams that achieved high positions in the previous tournament and another 5 that qualified based on their ranking.

The competition will take place from June 6 to June 14, 2026, in the Philippines. Participants will be divided into two groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the "Final Four".

The remaining teams will compete for 5th to 12th places.
