The taxi stand location for the Karakol-Bishkek route has changed.
The taxi stand has been moved to the territory of the bus station.
“Previously, private drivers picked up passengers opposite the building of the Department of Internal Affairs. Currently, traffic signs prohibiting parking have been installed in this area, which means that stopping and waiting for taxis in the specified location is no longer allowed.
This decision was made to establish order in the organization of road traffic on one of the main streets of Kara-Balta. This area experiences high traffic loads, as there is a gas station, an educational institution, and the Department of Internal Affairs nearby.
Moving the taxi stand to the bus station will help reduce congestion, increase safety, and organize traffic flow,” the statement reads.
Residents and visitors to the city are asked to take these changes into account when planning their trips.
