The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, has signed a decree under which the Historical and Cultural Heritage Fund "Muras" will come under the management of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic.
According to the new document, the fund will be subordinate to the Institute of History, Archaeology, and Ethnology named after B. Jamgerchinov. This decision is aimed at strengthening the research potential of the institute and activating its scientific activities.

According to the decree, the institute is required to align its work with the new provisions and take the necessary organizational steps.
Amendments have also been made to the president's decree of April 25, 2012, regarding the establishment of a commission for the development of historical science and the "Muras" fund, clarifying the responsible officials and changing the names of structural divisions of the president's administration.

The oversight of the implementation of this decree is assigned to the department responsible for monitoring the execution of decisions made by the president and the cabinet of ministers of the president's administration.
