The musicians will perform at the opening ceremony of the Games in Bishkek
The musical group Ay Yola from Bashkortostan has been officially chosen to convey the spirit of nomadic culture to a wide audience. Their unique style, which combines live performances on traditional instruments with modern electronic rhythms, has made them the new ambassadors of the VI World Nomad Games. According to the secretariat of the WNG, their task is to adapt the heritage of their ancestors to a format understandable to the youth, who actively use TikTok and other streaming platforms.
The choice of the Ay Yola collective reflects the modern trend of ethno-futurism, which will be the central theme of the upcoming Games in Kyrgyzstan. The musical work of the group, inspired by the epic "Ural-Batyr," fits harmoniously into the concept of this large-scale event, uniting the sports and cultural traditions of more than 100 countries. They will be supported in the team of ambassadors by the outstanding athlete Aisuluu Tynybekova, who has also become the face of the Nomad Games.
Don't forget that the opening ceremony of the Games will take place in Bishkek, while the Games themselves and their closing will be organized in the Issyk-Kul region. More than 100 countries are expected to participate.
