The issue was discussed during meetings in Dubai as part of the World Government Summit.
During the negotiations held in Dubai, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaiev, proposed the introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of his country when traveling to the United Arab Emirates. This proposal was made during a meeting with the Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In his speech, Kasymaiev emphasized that simplifying visa procedures would contribute to strengthening business, investment, and humanitarian ties between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE. He also noted that the UAE holds an important position in Kyrgyzstan's trade in the Middle East, and by 2025, the trade turnover between the countries is expected to reach approximately 150 million dollars.
During the meeting, the interaction in the field of trade and economy, attracting investments, and implementing joint projects was also discussed. The Kyrgyz delegation invited investors from the UAE and representatives of sovereign funds to participate in major investment initiatives, as well as in the upcoming forum "Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf - Central Asia," which will be held in Bishkek in April 2026.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan confirmed the UAE's interest in further developing economic cooperation and strengthening business ties with Kyrgyzstan.
